Dancers registration

Preselections are opened to all the dancers whatever their nationality, level and without any distinction. However, the dancers can ONLY particpate in a SINGLE preselection in the same category.

The dancers have to compete as a duet for the categories hip-hop, house, locking and popping and solo for the categories experimental and top rock.

Rules and Regulations

In every preselection city, the categories hip-hop, house, popping and locking must be represented. The partner organizer is free to add to it experimental and\or top rock.

A Juste Debout preselection takes place in two phases, the first one consisting in selecting the teams reaching the final phases. During this phase of selection, the duration of passage is about 1 minute per team.

The final phases - second phase of the preselection - get organized in quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. During the quarter-finals, the dancers have a passage of one minute by dancer. In semi-final and finale, the teams have two passages of one minute by dancer.

One single choreography by team and by phase of selection is authorized.

The top rock category has to get organized in quarter, half and finale.

The dancers have three passages without any time limit.

Judgment

During every phase of selection, the judges have a total of five voices among which two awarded by the head judge of each category. During the whole preselection, the judge of the category cannot return a blank vote (vote in cross).
